Artesia is a long ranged fighter and also a user of her magical power to make a powerful damage to an opponent heroes. Artesia are more focus fighting behind the tanker and support the team through Arcane Missile. And one of Artesia's skill Essence Projection has a global cast ranged, she can to support the team even she's not around.

Artesia is a long ranged magical DPS hero Your focus should be to stay in the back of a fight and support your team through Arcane Missile. Be aware that Essence Projection has a global cast ranged and can be used to support the team even if Artesia isn't around.
Guide:
Focus on getting to level 6 as fast as possible. Soloing is normally the best option but Artesia is not a strong solo hero and you may end up suffering more in the long run by soloing.
Artesia can soak up a lot of mana quickly so look to grab items that can increase her plenar mana pool. Picking up Shrunken Head can make it easier to use Dance of Death. This should allow you get off your full arsenal of spells.
