If you are playing Heroes of Newerth for long period of time, it is good for you to play Lord Salforis as a pure tanker and play it in the middle lane as long as your opponent hero is not range hero. Make sure you will be the last hit on the creeps so that you can make your golds coming and also it really depends on your opponents hero you can make proper skill build on purpose since your 2nd skill "Life Tap" is providing you +120 damage you can be a damage per second and semi tank.
